One laptop policy provides coverage for one laptop/computer.  Our laptop policy will cover any of the following: laptop (includes MacBooks), Netbook, Smartbook, Kindle, Tablet or desk top computer (including Macs).  Please note: our laptop policy will not cover an iPad.  To cover an iPad you will need to purchase an iPad insurance policy.

For an additional premium fee per category, you can add all the items listed below to your policy to protect your valuable investment:

$10 - Cell Phone/Smartphone (excluding iPhone)
$5 - iPod/MP3 Player, PDA’s
$10 - iPod Touch
$5 - Game Systems (XBOX, PS3, Wii, etc.)
$5 - Digital Cameras

LOSSES COVERED:

Accidental Damage *Optional

Fire, Flood, Natural Disasters

Vandalism

During the policy period, we will cover a loss due to accidental damage (includes drops and spills) - optional, theft, fire, flood, power surge due to lightning or natural disasters, and vandalism to the laptop you own or have leased -- including corporate issued laptops and items entrusted to you, WORLDWIDE, except as excluded in the "Special Provisions" section below. There is no coverage for mysterious disappearance (unless stolen), mechanical or electrical breakdown, wear or tear, corrosion and rust, nuclear war or government seizure.

Special Provisions

• Software: Loss or damage to software is limited to $1,000 for any one loss or your coverage amount, whichever is lower.
• Property in a personally owned automobile is covered, provided that the vehicle was locked at the time of theft and there was visible evidence of forced entry into the vehicle.
