A man was arrested yesterday for allegedly hitting his 17 year old girlfriend then smashing her laptop into the floor and breaking it in pieces. Donyae Noel Brown, 20, of Cove Road, Stamford, was charged with second-degree assault and second-degree criminal mischief.
Brown had confronted his girlfriend after viewing her browsing history and noticed she had visited the FaceBook page of another boy several times. He then demanded that she show him all the pages she visits and all the people she is in contact with. When she refused, he struck her with the laptop and injured her arm. Then he threw her laptop, smashing it into the floor and damaging the hardwood flooring.
The man will be arrained Wednesday in him home state.
