It's like an old friend that you haven't seen in a while. Sure you have other friends, but something is missing. You don't have the same connection to him/her that you did with your other friend. There's nuances that only that person got and ultimately you feel more comfortable. They are your BFF.
This friend is like Google Maps. When Apple released the iPhone 5 and ultimately iOS6, they had their own maps app. They decided not to have Google be the default application anymore.
When that was released, tons of people had problems with the app. It led you in the wrong direction. Would show landmarks as pins on a map instead of the actual landmarks.
BUT, that's all changed.
Google finally released their Google Maps app.
It has turn by turn directions and basically everything you need. The main difference I see is that you have to log in with your Google account. But in doing so, it has your maps searching history from your desktop so it remembers you.
See, it's like my old friend is back. I missed him. All is right with my iPhone now.
