Would you buy a phone that had interchangeable parts? That's what PhoneBloks is suggesting.

Check out this video on their website to get an idea of what they're suggesting: http://youtu.be/oDAw7vW7H0c

If you can't watch the video, here's a recap of what it said. Everyone always wants the best phone on the market but that changes so often that it's almost impossible to keep up. What if you want a better camera or more memory or a better battery? It's hard to have all of those or the best of one so you end up giving up something else. With PhoneBloks, you can choose to have a large battery and give up some memory. Thus, you can build the phone you want.

Now, this isn't a real product yet and that's part of their purpose for the video. The idea needs traffic and people talking about it before it can actually become a product. PhoneBloks isn't looking for money, they're looking for awareness. If you think this product is a good idea, go to their Thunderclap page and share a Facebook, Twitter or Tumblr post.

What do you think of this idea? Do you think this would work in today's market? What would you change about the idea?
